Lennox Island is a proud Mi’kmaq Nation located on the northwest coast of Prince Edward Island. About 400 community members call this home, while countless thousands trace their history and culture
to our gentle home.

We are a warm and welcoming community surrounded by natural beauty and pristine vistas. There is a gift basket of activities, jam-packed with a variety of adventures for the entire family busy. No matter what the season, Lennox Island is your playground.
Our hospitality is as wide and open as the natural rugged landscape that shapes the community. You will witness it first hand with the multitude of guides and hosts willing to share their stories, their culture and their history. Our community is also home to many gifted artisans willing to share many talents and hand-made products with you. You will be amazed with original woodworks, paintings, jewellery basket weaving and so much more. The essence of the area has been captured in a variety of methods from the many legends, the written word, pictures, crafts, drumming, music and dancing.

There is much to see and do on Lennox. Surrounded by the tranquil waters of world famous Malpeque Bay, Lennox Island offers a maze of walking trails, sea kayaking, deep sea fishing, boating, swimming, shopping at authentic Mi’kmaq craft shops as well as Prince Edward Island’s most complete Mi’kmaq museum.

Experience traditional Mi’kmaq cuisine at the café and take home a tasty souvenir of "lusgnign" (bannock) from the bakery. Delight in the sights and sounds of our traditional Pow Wow, enjoy the excitement of our annual St. Anne’s Sunday Celebration and join us for our Aboriginal Food festival. Adventure abounds so settle in as we help you find the activities that suit you.
