Fisherman's Pride Inc. is a primary resource harvester and seller of inshore seafood, based on the Lennox Island First Nation reserve, on Lennox Island. Fisherman's Pride is a communal commercial stakeholder in the inshore fishery, owning and administering a variety of fishery licenses and quotas.
The Business is 100% owned and operated by the Lennox Island First Nation. Revenue is earned through the harvest and sale of lobster, and to a lesser amount, snow crab. The lobster fishery is prosecuted with Band owned vessels and gear operating mostly from the wharf located at Lennox Island.
Fisherman's Pride employed three shore based personnel and twenty-four sea going employees in the past year. The company continues to invest in mentoring programs for its members to ensure that catches continue to increase.

Fisherman's Pride's catch last year for the eight boats was 110,000 pounds. It is our goal to see these boats reach 160,000 pounds during the spring season.
Fisherman's Pride administers all the licences held by the Lennox Island First Nation.
