EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (Ref: ED_Lennox)

The Lennox Island Development Corporation (LIDC) is the economic development arm of Lennox Island First Nation (LIFN) and has been established to generate own-source revenue, create employment opportunities for members of LIFN, nurture a sustainable local economy and generate wealth for LIFN and its members. The LIDC is currently seeking the an Executive Director to oversee the various developments undertaken by the LIDC including Property Management, a Community Wireless Network, a Fishing Enterprise, a community-based Ecotourism product, various Community Micro-enterprises, Community Development and Infrastructure projects, as well as the daily operations of the LIDC. The Executive Director, under the direction of the Board of Directors, will re-evaluate the structure of the LIDC operations, develop an action plan and expand the LIDC activities to achieve the goals of the organization.

COMMERCIAL FISHERIES MANAGER (Ref: CFM_Lennox)

The Lennox Island First Nation (LIFN) is a progressive PEI Coastal community that has gained a reputation for creative visioning and active management in all areas of its jurisdiction. As such, the LIFN is currently experiencing a period of rapid expansion of responsibilities in the area of commercial fisheries. The LIFN, as a result, is seeking the services of an individual who is able to provide hands-on coordination of a growing portfolio of commercial fisheries related activities.  Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Lennox Island Development Corporation, the Commercial Fisheries Manager will oversee all operational and staffing aspects of the commercial fishery in Lennox Island.  Responsibilities include financial management, operational management, and human resource management.
